The College of Engineering (CoE) offers its students
- rigorous academic training,
- multiple internship and practicum opportunities, and
- industry-focused research projects
in which they can become engaged. The combination of academics, practicum, and research at CoE helps students gain the thorough knowledge and skills required to be productive and innovative leaders in their fields. The success of our Masters’ programs is evidenced by the high job placement rate our graduates experience -- more than 95 percent of our alumni are employed.
The CoE currently offers two Master’s programs, IESM and CIS. In addition, it runs the Engineering Research Center (ERC) where cutting-edge research is conducted with significant student engagement.

Financial Aid and Tuition
AUA offers several types of financial assistance to students accepted into its programs. Students may apply for one or more of the following options:
- tuition assistance (based on the need of the applicant),

academic scholarship (based on academic merit),

a loan,
- permission for deferred payments, and
-
work/study position.

Tuition at the American University of Armenia is 960,000 AMD per year for Armenian nationals and long term residents (with 10-year visa).
For international students it is 3,300,000 AMD per year.

Military Service Deferral
For qualified male applicants, military service deferral positions are available on a competitive basis.
Accreditation
The American University of Armenia is a U.S. accredited university; as such, a degree delivered by AUA is equivalent to a degree from any university within the U.S.
